A Musical Jubilee - fun for all the family!
Written by Cath Moyse - Tue 12th Jul 2022
The show has many surprises - including goats, a dinosaur, a dodgy mullet and 'The King' making a miraculous return from the dead for one night only (well, two afternoons actually).
The 80's is represented by a series of 40-second excerpts from the most famous films of the decade. How many can you spot? And look out for the lead guitarist's headgear during the chorus' renditions of Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'.
The BGT sketch featuring Beth's hula-hoop routine is rudely interrupted by a surprise guest, who then goes on to steal the show.
In a tribute to the 2012 Olympics, there is a hilarious synchronised swimming sketch. Yes I did say swimming - and yes it is on stage!
Next weekend is set to be hot, so please bring a hat and sun cream. Free water refills will be on offer, and there is some shade available so bring your chairs or picnic rug and arrive early to bag a good spot (doors open at 1:45pm)
Ice creams will be available and we will also be serving strawberries, cream teas, Pimms and prosecco. These can be ordered in advance when you buy tickets, or purchased on the day, to consume before the show or during the interval. Payment by card or cash.
Saturday afternoon's performance is already sold out, so if you don't want to miss this exciting show click on www.ticketsource.co.uk/lvp or ring 07864 715708 to get tickets for Sunday.
