Celia grew up near Exeter where her most notable role was as an Eskimo!! She met her now husband, Martin Evans, [link] whilst a member of the “Young Farmers” who were concerned with all things drama. Celia has been a part of 26 Launton Pantos; in early years she performed with the chorus, before settling into a producer role in 1991. Celia gets a great sense of achievement when seeing the jigsaw puzzle of a show coming together on opening night. She says “It’s a magical feeling”.
A teacher, Celia recently retired and spends her spare time ballroom dancing as well as organising the troops for Panto and also the Summer Show. Of dancing, Celia is quoted as saying “It’s harder than it looks!”. Celia’s love and expertise is priceless in the world of Panto and production.
