2018 year in review

Aladdin & the Magic Lamp was the 32nd Launton Pantomime, with six shows, playing to 1227 people in the audiences.  Well over 100 people were involved in the production in one way or another.  Together we raised £6050 for charitable organisations – the second largest amount from the panto run (Cinderella in 2016 raised £7100!).  The money went to 34 organisations, from local Launton groups, local schools, Bicester charities such as the Food Bank and Good Neighbour Scheme, Oxford-based charities and more, such as Book Aid International.  The Bicester Advertiser article on this is here: http://www.bicesteradvertiser.net/news/16164810.Aladdin_players_raises_more_than___6_000_for_local_good_causes/?c=yv457j

In the summer, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat sold out three shows in Launton Parish Hall and raised £1800 for the Launton Parish Hall Improvement Project (PHIP).  Over 40 people were involved.  Thanks to Costcutter in Launton for selling the tickets.

The autumn play, Country Dances, was also a success.  More info to come…
